BH Backhoe & Equipment

Special Backhoe Services
We can dig a grave and bury your horse
or any large pet, cattle or livestock that has, or will have to be put down
(euthanized), or has died. (At your location.) If you have advance notice that your horse is
going to be put down (euthanized), have the burial spot picked out before
your veterinarian arrives. Doing this the horse can be ethicized as close
as possible to the burial spot where we will dig the grave and bury the
horse. It’s important to choose a spot where the
grave will be dug, that will
not be near, or drain toward a well or water supply for sanitary purposes. Be sure
there are no underground utilities at the burial spot, and if you are not
sure, call Dig Safe
& call 811 . You may also want to check city and county laws on
burying a horse in your area. It is safe to bury your horse in a pasture used by other
horses, so long as you are sure the earth over the burial site is
well-packed. The grave should be dug a minimum of six feet deep. Contact us that you
are making arrangements with your veterinarian, and we will be there and do
the burial as soon as possible, and assist in anyway we can.
